My toes slant at an acute angle. They are like a family of five; dad, mum and a line of three children ages eight, six, and four. My toes take the shape of a pan flute held together by a sisal rope. Which means if I did the moonwalk, spun and finished it off with a stand, I’d put the weight of my body on the big totos.
When I put my feet next to each other, they look like the roof of my late father’s grass thatched hut which he built in the 80’s, a hut I stayed in a few times in the 90’s and was used to store construction tools and materials when my grandma’s current house was being built.
My feet are long and narrow. They are called Egyptian Feet.
Not everyone’s feet are like mine. Some people have four toes that are of the same length – Peasant Feet. Others have three feet of the same size – Roman Feet. Some have Greek Feet where the second toe is longer than the others while other people have Traveler’s Feet. For this group, everything tapers off with space between toes.
It doesn’t matter what your foot type is. A good pair of shoes will not discriminate against your feet.
They’ll allow your feet to rest on a relaxing bed of padding. Your feet won’t complain of aches or stress. Good shoes will give your feet air to breathe, keeping ventilation open every time you walk.
They’ll let you take strides with utmost comfort, the spring on each step making you feel as though you are floating. They’ll be lightweight you won’t feel the weight of each tread. They’ll be easy fit. You can slide your feet in and out effortlessly. That’s what my Skechers do for me.
They keep me walking with a bounce.
Can’t believe I actually checked my feet! 🙈🙈 Turns out I have Greek feet.
We thank God for good shoes. 😄
Hehehe. I knew it someone would check their feet.
There are types of feet? Lol. Never heard of that. I think I’ve traveler’s feet. Thanks for letting me know 😊
We learn new things from some of the most unlikely places. 🙂
